School Bus
The school bus is owned and operated by Mr. Terry Campbell. His phone number can be obtained from the school.
In the morning the bus travels to the Beechworth Log on the Triamble Road, from 7.50 am on and arriving at school at 8.10 am. In the afternoon the bus leaves school at 3pm and returns to the Beechworth Log at 3.20 pm.
In the morning the bus travels to the corner of Bonds and Gundowda Roads, arriving there at 8.25 am and returning to school at 8.45 am. In the afternoon the bus leaves the school at 3.40 pm and arrives at Bonds Road at 3.55 pm.
Application forms for bus travel are available from Terry or the school.
Application forms are also available from the school for Private Vehicle Conveyance for families residing more than 1.6 km from the bus pick up point. The subsidy is paid directly into the parent’s bank account after the end of Term 2 and Term 4. It is calculated on the number of days that a child attends school.
The principal or teacher and bus driver must be informed of any changes to travel arrangements, preferably before lunch.
Numbers on the bus restrict parents from sending children home to friends’ houses without consulting the bus driver.
