The Theatre Restaurant proved a success with many attending over the two weekends in May 2006. Once again, theatre goers were treated to a fantastic meal and bar by the ever hardworking crew.

This year, the play was written by Nerida Rodrom, with Sally Colley tackling the arduous task of casting and directing.

We welcomed some new faces to the stage in Helen Lawson, Marg Colley, Errol Edwards and Leonie Cridland. Belinda Roach stepped in to tickle the ivories. Yes, there were also the regulars of Greg Lawson, Stephen Gabb, Angus Rae, Lew Williams, Nerida Rodrom, Bob and Sally Colley and Katrina Odgers. And, of course, who could forget Max Rayner’s cameo appearance in “those” Speedos. Garth Rodrom and Jeff Bultitude handled the lighting and scenery.

The story was simple enough. Lord Commode had found a treasure map in his late father’s things. All they had to do was find the island with the tree marked with an “X”. It just became a bit complicated after that…...

The not too bright manservant Wee Willie (Greg Lawson) on the look out for pirates!

Madam Bottomly's identical twins Gertie (Helen Lawson) and Floss (Nerida Rodrom). Their rare and unique beauty was only outdone by their beautiful singing!

Shirley Martin Martin (Sally Colley) did an excellent job directing and managed to mostly control the cast who had a tendency to Ad LiB!

The ship is stormed by pirates. Captain Wugposh (Bob Colley), not to be confused with Captain Pugwash, a character from a children's book, challenges Lord Commode (Stephen Gabb) to a duet duel!

Imagine everyone's surprise when they arrived at the island to discover the dear departed Horace (Max Rayner Jnr) happily cohabitating with a bevy of beautiful island girls (Katrina Odgers)
