2010 was the year of restoring the War Memorial.A small group of locals decided the War memorial needed an overhaul. They designed a new structure to incorporate the old gun mounting, and under the auspices of Hargraves progress Association, set about seeking donations from tradesmen and business in the local and Mudgee district. A grant was also procured from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Despite it being a year of inclement weather, the group of volunteers managed to complete the restoration of the War Memorial in time for it to be re-dedicated on Remembrance Day in November. |

Country Craft Market Day Dec. 22 Our country crafts market day is shaping up to be a great day, we have a large range of stalls book and the Fire Brigade is working on a BBQ menu with a difference. It was decided on Wednesday we would also invite a couple of locals to busk on the day to add a bit of atmosphere to the overall day. We have also added Trash and Treasure to the list of stalls , these will operate in a seperate area to the craft (so nobody can get it mixed up). Any one still wanting to book a stall is more than welcome. Hope to see every one there. Bookings: Phone Margaret Colley 02 6373 8634
